- 3 Ibs Yukon gold potatoes,thinly sliced
- 8 oz Philadelphia cream cheese
- 1/2 c sour cream
- 1 c chicken broth
- 6 slices of bacon,cooked and drained
- 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Mix cream cheese,sour cream and broth in a large bowl and set aside.
Season the sliced potatoes with salt and pepper.
Layer 1/3 of the potatoes on the bottom.Pour 1/3 of the cream cheese sauce on top.Then sprinkle 1/3 of the cheddar cheese.Repeat layers ending with cream cheese sauce,cheddar cheese and bacon on top.
Cover and bake for 45 minutes.Then uncover and bake for an additional 30-45 minutes until the potatoes are cooked through and the top is golden brown.You can also broil for 3 minutes at the end to obtain a golden cheesy crust.
Allow to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
